DANG! Coconut Chips!

I'm backkkk!!! I took a little vacation but now I am back with some more goodies... The other day I received my Love With Food Box and inside this box I receive a little coconut treat. I was a little skeptical because, let's be real, how amazing can coconut get?

I didn't realize coconut goodness can come in such a small bag. I saw it there among all the other treats. It was called DANG. I wanted a little dessert, so I was like..ok ok, let me try this coconut chip thing *rolled eyes*...Little did I know that I was going to enjoy them so much.

Now these coconut chips are deliciously toasted ,sweetened and lightly salted. I have to say, I wasn't expecting such a yummy taste. It was buttery, crunchy, lightly sweetened and I have to admit that I ate the whole bag in one sitting. But no worries, only 115 calories per oz. so it makes a healthy on the go snack!! Also these chips are:

  • Vegan
  • Gluten Free
  • Non-GMO
  • No Cholesterol
  • Good Source of Fiber
  • High in Lauric Acid

    WOW! what a great cookie!

I was roaming around a local health food store in the city yesterday and I wanted to pick up some dessert for a visit to my friend's house. I saw a bag of Gluten Free Cookies called WOW and they were on sale but because I usually do not buy Gluten- Free cookies due to the dryness, I became very skeptical. I touched the bag trying to see if the "Chewy" warning outside of the bag seemed correct and they seemed pretty soft, so I decided to buy them.

When I got to my friends house my first thing i said out loud was "I hope it these are good" hoping that my friend would not crucify me if they sucked. When we opened the bag the cookies looked adorable, plump and seemed extremely chewy. We then proceeded to take the first bite and my oh my, we realized why they called these babies WOW cookies. THEY WERE AMAZING !!! Nice and Moist, Chunky and filled with delicious Chocolate Chips. Long story short, we ate the WHOLE BAG!!

    Raw Banana Ice Cream

I thought I would share a quick frozen dessert recipe guys. This has been one of my favorites recently. Anytime that I have a craving for Ice cream this is my go to snack. RAW BANANA ICE CREAM!

All you need is .... BANANAS.

The first step is to peel you bananas and put them in the freezer overnight to make sure they are nice and cold. Once Bananas are frozen you can add them to your blender, nutribullet or food processor and go crazy with the ingredients. I personally like to add almond butter and vanilla granola on top. So Delicious! The great thing about this recipe is that once the bananas are blended the consistency turns into the same exact consistency of ice cream. IF YOU DON'T LEAVE THEM TOO LONG IN THE FRIDGE IT WOULD TURN INTO MUSH! They HAVE to be left overnight.

Below find some awesome pictures I found online of creative ways people have enjoyed this delicious treat!

    Now on this one there are 5 flavors;

    Chi-Chi-Chiiiii CHIIIA! (pods)

Heyyyy Guys! Well today I wanted to write and tell you about one of my new favorite snacks. The CHIA PODS.. Yes, I said it .. CHIA pods.. Same seed from that old commercial and you can actually eat them!

They are full of Omega 3's, tons of Fiber and some Protein. They also contain many essential vitamins and minerals, like potassium and calcium.. The seeds actually do contain extractable oil, a reason why the Aztecs called the seeds chian or oily.

This one Australian company called The Chia Co has these delicious Chia Pods which I call the On The Go Chia Puddings. Now these are VEGAN and contain only 3 little ingredients. Chia Seeds, Coconut Milk and fruit..(They have different flavors) also NO SUGAR ADDED! WOO!.

Now I call them Chia Puddings because once the Chia Seed comes in contact with any liquid it excretes this gelatine (when its comes in contact with liquid it actually absorbs 12 times its weight in water.... did I mention it also HYDRATES you?!). So the consistency becomes like a nice pudding with little soft Chia seeds inside.

Now here comes the best part.. The Flavors:
